Footpaths on the foreshore are for residents to jog or to enjoy strolls with their children,
loved ones or pets.

For the safety of foot traffic, only bicycles are allowed. Cyclists should not speed when
riding on the footpaths.

All users should be socially responsible and share the use of the footpath.
No fishing

Don’t break the rules. It is illegal to fish at any point at Sentosa and those who flout the
rules will be financially penalized.
No swimming

For their own safety, residents and guests are advised not to swim in the open sea.
There are
i. strong currents;
ii. sharp rocks on the rock bund and on the sea floor;
iii. floating sea barriers (FSBs); and
iv. an active shipping channel beyond the FSBs
Leash your dog and pick up after it

All dogs should be leashed. This is to prevent dogs from inadvertently attacking people
and also to prevent them dashing out on to the roads.

Be responsible for your pet and clean up after your dog. It is everyone’s responsibility to
maintain a clean and pleasant environment.
Slippery when wet

The footpaths have a pebble wash finishing which has a rough surface with anti-slip
properties but residents and guests are advised to walk with caution especially when
the path is wet after rain. You don’t want to take an unnecessary tumble.
